The Kryptonite Keeper 12 is a solid, tough U-lock for securing your bike in moderate crime areas.  This bike lock will give you peace of mind when you’re popping into shops or quickly leaving your bike for a while.  The Keeper will take some pretty harsh treatment before being broken.

A 12mm hardened steel shackle offers excellent resistance against both cutting and sawing type attacks.  The length of time and the equipment needed to break through this lock makes a great deterrent for would-be thieves.

As with all U-locks, the Kryptonite Keeper is not the lightest lock on the market.  But remember, this added weight comes from a strengthened steel shackle and reinforced collar (over the keyway) – the thing that makes this lock such a deterrent.
